What You Need To Do To Join Us


1. Download and complete the Membership Form and return it with the appropriate fee to the address listed on the form.

NOTE: If you have a current firearm licence (regardless of state or country) could you please provide a copy of this with your application. If you are an S.S.A.A. member could you please provide a copy of your membership card also.

2. You must also be a member of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA), please download and complete the application form and send it to the return address together with your joining fees as listed on the SSAA application form. NOTE: When completing the SSAA Application form please enter "W23" as your Branch number.

3. Once your application is received it will be tabled at the next committee meeting for acceptance. To qualify for Probationary membership you must supply written references from a previous firearms club or be able to demonstrate adequate firearms related knowledge. The membership form needs to be received at the post box by the First Tuesday of every month to be processed in that month.

4. You will then receive a membership card in the mail


What Happens Next?


As a Provisional member you need to complete the following:

1. Read the Range Rules

2. You must attend and complete a Safety and Training Course. These courses are held at the club house free of charge for members of Perth Field Rifle.

Please review this year's Calendar to find out when the next Safety Training Course is scheduled.

3. Attend six shoots and have them recorded on the back of your provisional membership card. Do not forget to sign the Attendance Book on the shooting range!

Discipline delegates have access to firearms owned by the club and can make them available for members that do not own or do not have access to firearms in order to allow provisional members to participate in shooting events. Firearms owned by Perth Field Rifle Club are not kept on the club's premises!

4. Return your provision membership card to the Secretary once it has had six shoots recorded on it.

Once you have completed all the points listed above and are accepted as a full member by the committee, you will receive a pro-rata invoice for your fees for the remainder of the year.


As a Probationary member you need to complete the following:

1. Read the Range Rules

2. You must attend and complete a Safety and Training Course. These courses are held at the club house free of charge for members of Perth Field Rifle.

3. Maintain a good standing within the club at the end of the 6 month probationary period.

4. At the end of the 6 months your name will automatically be put forward to the committee for full membership and you will receive a pro-rate invoice for your fees for the remainder of the year.


Firearm Support


As a Full Member can apply for firearm support. You will need to complete a Club Support Form and email it to the club or hand it to a delegate.
