We hope this message finds you well. As always, we are grateful for your ongoing involvement in and support of our club, which remains dedicated to promoting responsible firearm ownership, safety, and camaraderie among our members.

We are writing to address the upcoming WA Gun Rally scheduled for 8 February 2025. While we understand and respect the rights of individuals to participate in lawful demonstrations, we wish to clarify the committee’s position regarding this event.

As an organisation, our club remains neutral on political and public demonstrations of this nature. Our primary mission has always been to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for members to enjoy their shared passion for shooting sports. To that end, the club will not be officially participating in, endorsing, or promoting the rally.

We also encourage members who may be considering attending the rally to reflect on the importance of representing responsible firearm ownership. Demonstrating mutual respect, lawful conduct, and civility are values we hold dear. It is important to avoid actions or behaviours that could unintentionally reflect negatively on our club or the broader firearm community.

We trust our members to make personal decisions about whether to attend the rally and hope that all those who choose to participate will do so peacefully and responsibly. Regardless of individual choices, we look forward to continuing to work together to uphold the positive values that define our club.
